Do you know

How meteorites are made, love?

When the universe

was colliding

Making and breaking sun and star,

A few pieces of ancient dust

Escaped the mindless war

They ran and hid

In the dark bylanes

Till everything turned quiet

They tip toed in the space war field

And waited for the light

But soon they knew

They have blundered well

For away sped their homes,

They travelled with the speed of light

Forever doomed to roam

They cried and burst

Rushed around in waves

But home they never found

They zoom past every now and then

Wretched souls are just homebound

So if you see a piece of rock

Rushing forth in the bright blue sky

Do make a wish for that forlorn soul

May he find his home nearby
