Hushed voices of sanity
And loud roars of anger
I always find that
The ones who have something good to say
Are sometimes scared
that their voices would be lost
In the melee
So they speak in whispers
While those voices
That can wreak havoc are always loud
Sometimes I pray
For the solitary souls to come out of the shadows of fear
I want them to shout
Even if it’s a lone voice
Even if nobody would care much
Because sometimes
Only one card can topple the castle
Or one human can bring a barren beach to life
So don’t you give up
When your voice is unheard
Just make sure
That your words are never slave to what others may think
Make sure that a sane voice
Never has to speak in whispers
